ถาม question
Since it is a non-commercial trial phase, why am I being charged for certain 3G services?

ตอบ answer
This is because voice, SMS and MMS are using shared resources of Fixed Mobile Convergence and the TrueMove 2G network which interlink with other operators’ networks including AIS, DTAC, Hutch, TOT, and IDD (international calls). Once a user makes a call to another network, it incurs an interconnection cost to the origin of the call. This is subject to the telecommunication service agreement and the user is required to pay. As for content, there is usually a copyright fee for the content the user has downloaded regardless of what network is being used. As mentioned above, there will be no charges for data and Internet access via 3G. Once 3G services have officially launched, there will be charges for all services based on the 3G rate structure.

Can I connect my computer/notebook/netbook to the Internet via 3G?

ตอบ answer
Yes you can. By plugging a 3G USB Modem known as an Air Card into your computer’s USB port you can connect to the 3G Internet. Alternatively, a 3G Wi-Fi Router can convert the 3G signal to a Wi-Fi signal so you can connect to the Internet via your device’s Wi-Fi connectivity.
